We now offer Acupuncture!
Acupuncture is a form of healing that originates from Chinese medicine. It is a safe and effective treatment that restores balance to the body and helps relieve pain. Acupuncture stimulates specific areas in the body called "acupoints." These points are stimulated using small thin needles. Once these areas, and the nerves that supply or go to these areas are stimulated they send signals to the brain. The brain then releases hormones and endorphins as a result. This reaction helps relieve pain & discomfort and can be used to treat a wide range of conditions.
Acupuncture has been shown to help relieve: muscular pain such as chronic back, neck, or knee pain, muscle spasms, and joint pain such as arthritis. Acupuncture can help reduce inflammation in the joints and therefore speed up the healing process in that region. Other conditions that can benefit from Acupuncture: headaches and migraines, sciatica, stress, digestive problems, anxiety, infertility, psoriasis, autoimmune disorders, tremors, etc. evidence based acupuncture
